Bishop T. L. Mason

Bishop T. L. Mason is a native of Petersburg, Virginia. He credits his mother, Ruth Mason and his grandmothers, Carrie McNear, and Ida Hawkes as the major influences in his life. These women impacted his early indoctrination in the church. Their reliance upon church attendance and living right led to Bishop Mason receiving Jesus Christ as Lord at an early age.

Bishop T. L. Mason experienced a supernatural encounter with God in April 2005.  God confirmed his ministerial call. As part of his calling, God demanded strict accountability while mandating his submission to the Kingdom of God, placing emphasis on doctrine of holiness and sanctification.  This experience caused a major spiritual transformation.

Bishop Mason received his ministerial license in January 2006 and elevated to Eldership in September 2007 by the late Apostle Maurice K. Wright. In 2009, Bishop Mason and his wife, Pastor Joyce Mason were released to answer the call of God to start a church, Touch by the Word Ministries.  Bishop Mason was consecrated to the bishopric in November 2023 by Apostle James E. Kellem, Presiding Prelate, Dominion Covenant Fellowship of Churches International. He currently serves as the Third Presiding Prelate of DCFOCI; the Presiding Prelate of the Southwest Region, and Chairman of the International Men’s Department. Bishop T. L. Mason is a servant-leader, an ambassador called by God, to facilitate change in His people.  He is anointed to teach and preach the Word of God with power, simplicity, and relevance.

Bishop Mason currently holds has a Ph.D. in Leadership from Piedmont International University, Winston Salem, North Carolina (May 2020); Master of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Church Ministries from Liberty Theological Seminary and Graduate School, Lynchburg, Virginia (March 2010) and an MBA from NOVA Southeastern University, Ft. Pastor Joyce Mason

The “hand of God” was evident in Pastor Joyce Mason’s life being set apart at an early age.  Called to operate with the “evangelistic” anointing, Pastor Mason refined her skills of leading the unsaved to Jesus Christ through her powerful preaching and fervent prayer life.   Pastor Mason has been gifted by God with the supernatural ability to transform the lives of individuals through her dynamic preaching and teaching.  Pastor Mason was introduced to holiness and sanctification in the early days she spent in the Pentecostal church.  Her ministry confirms her Pentecostal influence as her messages prompt hearers to forsake the ways of the world and to return to the Lord.

Possessing over 25 years of ministry experience, Pastor Joyce Mason is an anointed intercessor, preacher, and teacher of the Word of God, as well as a prophetic psalmist. God has anointed Pastor Mason to utilize her “spiritual gifts,” in various capacities, as evidenced to in Ephesians 4:11. Pastor Mason’s prophetic preaching exposes Satan’s tactics and renders “the agents of darkness” powerless and ineffective.  God has anointed her with a powerful deliverance ministry to help rescue individuals from satanic influence.  Pastor Mason wears a heavy mantle from God, to harness sanctification and holiness as a lifestyle.  Her life is a testament to “one” who is totally yielded and submitted to God.

Pastor Mason received her license into the ministry in 1998 and elevated to Eldership in 2005. She accepted her call to the “prophetic office” in March 2014.  On November 7, 2023, was installed to the Pastoral office by Apostle James E. Kellem, Presiding Bishop, Dominion Covenant Fellowship of Churches International.  She shepherd God’s flock at Touch by the Word Ministries Apostolic Center, alongside her husband, Bishop T. L. Mason in Huntsville, Alabama. Pastor Joyce Mason is a certified Chaplain under the American Chaplaincy Association.
